Southern California Beach Family Photoshoot in San Clemente

Sometimes everything goes right. This day was one of those days.

The sun was shining. The water was bright crystal blue in Calafia Beach in San Clemente. The light was the kind of light that photographers dream of. Jena and Robbie are so in love and their little Ryder is beyond adorable.

I believe it’s so important to document each season of life when kids are growing up. Everyone says kids grow up so fast, but really it’s staggering how quickly they grow. You’ll want to remember each little piece of each stage as you look back. How they smile, laugh, hold onto you, their first wobbly steps, and all their sweet little details.

There’s nothing better than sandy toes, a sunny beautiful day in southern California, warm ocean water with waves lapping at your feet, and a little family completely in love.

We ended the photoshoot in the canyons by the parking lot that totally made me feel like we were in Arizona in the Antelope Canyon. (But, like, less red!)
